Scary Moment for Jason Schmidt in Albuquerque

I was very excited to see Jason schmidt pitch for the Albuquerque Isotopes tonight. I was hoping to see him pitch about a hundred pitches and all went well till the third inning when he got hit by a line drive in the head. it was a scary moment when he was hit and fell to the ground. He wasn't knocked out but when you see a pitcher get hit in the head by a line drive you think the worst. He walked off the field on his own. The Isotopes post game reported the Jason was check out in the club house but was not taken to the hospital. The post game report also said he will be monitored tonight. Jason will be in my prayers tonight. I will keep you updated on what I hear.
