Sorry the photos are a couple of days old but I have had to work. It was a great opening day here in Albuquerque.

Lets start with the funniest thing that happened. Somebody who works on the ground crew forgot to turn off the sprinklers. When the University of New Mexico basketball team was being announced the sprinklers turned on.
Head Coach for the Lobos basketball team Steve Alford threw out the first pitch to Josh Lindblom. Josh is from Indiana where Alford played his college years for Bobby Knight.

Josh also caught a first pitch from Mayor Richard Berry.

The Isotopes have a core group of players who played last season. Jamie Hoffmann, Chin-Lung Hu, J D Closser, Xavier Paul, Josh Lindblom, James McDonald, Scott Elbert, and a few others spent time in Albuquerque last season.

Josh Lindblom is one player I am going to enjoy watching this season. I am going to enjoy watching him develop into a Major League pitcher.

Ivan De Jesus is alot shorter than I thought. He is pretty fast.
Xavier Paul hit the first home run at Isotopes Park of the 2010 season.

I think it is going to be a great season. If it wasn't for this thing called work I think I would spend even more time than I already do at Isotopes Park.
